How an Order Works, Step by Step

Ordering something handmade is different from ordering off a shelf. Here is exactly what happens.

**1. Your order arrives.** You receive an automatic confirmation with your order number. Ready-made pieces are packed within 1–3 business days.

**2. Made-to-order pieces.** If an item is marked made-to-order, production takes 5–10 business days depending on size. I send a progress photo before it is finished.

**3. Custom work.** For a fully custom piece, write to me first with size, colours, and a reference image. I reply with a sketch, a price, and a timeline, and only start after you approve. Custom pieces usually take 2–3 weeks.

**4. Packaging.** Everything is rolled in tissue, wrapped in a protective layer, and boxed with a handwritten note. Packaging is plastic-free wherever possible.

**5. Shipping.** You receive a tracking number as soon as the parcel leaves the studio. Domestic delivery is typically 2–4 days; international varies by destination.

**6. If something is wrong.** Message me within 14 days of delivery. Ready-made pieces can be returned unused; custom work cannot be returned, but I will always repair or remake a faulty piece at my cost.
